The Team

Jeremy and Louisa began sailing together at a Miami Training Camp in December 2013. Both were interested in pursuing an Olympic Campaign in the Nacra17, but in need of a partner who shared the same dream and motivation. Leandro Spina, the Nacra17 coach, paired them together for the camp to see if they would be a viable team. Needless to say, it was a success, and Team Rhode Island was created.

They are currently focused on improving their knowledge of the boat and boat handling in an effort to become the number one American multihull team, and eventually the number one multihull team in the world. Every day on the water has seen marked progress, showing that despite the challenging road ahead, Jeremy and Louisa are confident they can achieve their dream of a Gold Medal in Rio 2016.
